This is such a wonderful walnut antique store display case! And, besides making a fabulous display cabinet for your home it would make a great unusual dining room buffet or entry hall piece. Made by the A. R. Jackson Kansas City Show Case Works, it still retains its original finish with all the original labels and curved glass. There is even an etched cupid in the front glass. Entry is through the back of this awesome cabinet by a drop-down door with a mirrored front. The original latch is in place but someone has added a hasp for locking the door at some point in its life. It also has a single drawer in the back immediately beneath the drop down door. Its curved front, the walnut finish and the chunky square legs are just downright handsome. This cabinet is an interesting piece of Kansas City history. I have not been able to date it precisely but would say late 1800’s to 1910 by style.
