Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman
This is a Charles and Ray Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman in very very good condition. The first “comfy” chair that Eames designed for the high-end market. This particular design is a permanent member of New York’s Museum of Modern Art. They are molded plywood and leather and well known for it’s comfort. It has beautiful rosewood veneers and black leather and is 1970′s-80′s Vintage. The seat of the chair swivels on a cast aluminum base and the chair has a low seat fixed into a permanent recline. Charles’s vision for the chair was that of ” a warm, receptive look of a well-used baseball mitt.” A very popular chair making appearances in many t.v. programs and pop cultures, this set is ready to make a statement in your home.
