This fabulous pair of gilt iron chairs will be the perfect touch of whimsey to any room with any décor! We have deemed them Hollywood Regency or Art Deco with their over-the-top fun yet stately look. I’m rather partial to them. They have been in our private collection for about 30 years! It is time to share. They are comprised of hand wrought solid iron rod. The over-height back is welded in a harlequin shaped diamond pattern that is wider at the top than where it attaches to the seat. Making it resemble a jester’s crown accented with a series of ball finials to top it off. The seat is upholstered in a sling style with a purple taffeta fabric. That is then covered with a tie-on slipcover in a black and gold harlequin diamond pattern fabric. Allowing you to just get a peek of the purple. Psssst….The slipcover is covering up a little damage to the actual upholstery, but it looks so fun that way. These incredible chairs appear flimsy; but are very sturdy. And, have lots of style and presence! You need to make them yours.
